You'd hear any or all these tracks at any of the warehouse parties of 1988/89/90 Most of my vinyl is gathering dust with the advent of MP3 but you cant beat the audio weight of a vinyl track...

'Ok Alright' by the Minutemen is one of the greatest house tracks ever made IMHO and combined the piano riffs of house with a delayed rap and a sliding shifting breakbeat in a unique way that leaves a track that has never been surpassed and still sends a shiver down my spine even today! Minor key harmonics were the signature of house and (piano)acid house to me, sounds that are so happy they're sad!!! Cry yer eyes out music!!! Others in that vein I remember were '4 for Money' (it's morning!) 'Dreams of Santa Ana' and 'Landlord' (Blowout Dub Mix)...happy happy daze...thanks for the memories...love'n'piece L.A. Ted
